I have quietly followed your posts on Brent's site for some time and have followed your new blog here "Safe in HIS Arms" since you first started. I had been missing you and was thrilled to see you had updated both this morning.<BR/><BR/>Your post here really spoke to me today as this is something that I've been thinking alot about the past year or so. I was raised to believe (or, at least, I interpreted) the same as you -- that we should invite people to church first. And, while I think we SHOULD invite people to church, there is so much to be said for "meeting them where they are" first. I think some people receive Christ more willingly if our first step in witnessing is to NOT bring them to this big, formal church building.
