checking in..

Hello, Friends!

It's been SO LONG since I've posted. WOW! I've been thinking that I'd like to try blogging regularly again, but haven't taken the time to start. God has shown me so much over the past few years and I'd love to share some of it with you. (I know that He's brought us down this path not only to draw us closer to Himself, but so that we might also encourage others) I want to be open to whatever God has for me, so I'm prayerfully considering keeping up my blog again. (I stopped because it became so time-consuming.. I've GOT to keep God, then my family first... Amen?) :)

I hope to check back again soon. For REAL this time... LOL!

Hey sweet friend.. I know that for me, Facebook has taken over as the preferred way to communicate what's happening in our lives. And yet... it's so impermanent. I post, I get responses, but by the next day, I no longer can find them without great effort. The beauty of a blog is it's permanence. You can pull it up hours, days, weeks, months, YEARS later, and there are those posts and photos, waiting for you. So yes, please... blog more! Even though I pretty much know what's going on in your life from your FB, I do treasure your blog entries...

I know what you mean, Tonya. After my brother's brain hemorrhage (and subsequent health problems), I realized that life it too precious to waste sitting in front of a computer screen! I've cut wayyy back on blogging.

It's so nice to see you back!

Love you...

Thanks for the update!!!!!!!!! You know I'll be reading anything you write!
Know that the Lord is always with you, wrapping His loving arms around you and holding on tight!
Psalms 18:2-6 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Still praying hard in Seattle!
Psalms 34:4, 6-7 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (6-7) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Psalms 86:15-16 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

Hey friend! I've thought the same thing about my blog. I've had such a trying year but God was faithful and stood by us the entire journey. I must might, might start posting again. But only if you do.... : )

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hi Tonya!

My name is Briana and I work with Grace Hill Media. I ran across your blog while reading first day of school posts and saw that not only are you a mom and blogger, but you’re a Christian as well! I’d love to chat briefly about working with you on Roma Downey’s new DVD, Little Angels. I would've contacted you through email but I couldn't find your address. Please shoot me an email at briana@gracehillmedia.com so I can explain in more detail. Don't want to get too lengthy in your content box :)

BTW, This isn't spam. You can check our credentials here: www.gracehillmedia.com

Hope to hear from you soon!

When I pulled up your page there was some kind of ad thing that popped up first. Don't know what that means...
Am so blessed to be able to pray for your family!
Psalms 31:14-16 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.

Stopping in to say HELLO & that I think about you and your sweet family. I know the days can be brutal some times. But always trying to remember to not let my ETERNAL view get clouded by this temporary view (easier said than done a lot of times). Prayers your way!
