Word Filled Wednesdays

I'm joining Amydeanne for today's Word-Filled Wednesday..

Titus 3
Do What Is Good

1 Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. 2 They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone.
3 Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.

4 But—“When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, 5 He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.[a] 6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 Because of His grace He declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” 8 This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone.

I love the drawing that explains so well that it's all because of God's amazing grace that we are saved.
I work with the youth at our church on Wed. nights and last week a little 7th gd. girl wanted to talk to me after service and she was crying. She told me that she has asked Jesus into her heart but doesn't feel like He's there.
This is something I feel like would be very good to share with her tonight.
Have a blessed day!
Valerie

Tonya,
Thanks for the birthday wish!
That's awesome that your Mam-maw is 100 years old! I bet my grandma lives to be that old too. She's amazing!
Thanks again,
Valerie

Yes! Yes! Yes!

We used this image (in person) during Vacation Bible School. To get across a river (in the classroom) to the better place, everyone had to walk across the cross. The cross was (and is) the only way.

Great image. Wonderful Scripture. Glory to God.

Tonya, This is my first time on your blog. I'm so sorry to see about your son. I don't even want to imagine how hard it must be. I have a 10 year old son.

My first Word Filled Wednesday is up. It's a Psalm.
