A day at the Noxubee Refuge

I think I mentioned some time back that I'd be posting again on our trip at the Noxubee Refuge? (We met there for church and a picnic afterwards) Well, to be honest, I forgot. O:-)

SOOOO.. I thought I'd take a few and share some of the cool pics with you.

One of the VERY FIRST THINGS we saw upon entering the refuge was an ALLIGATOR! OH, THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL! (I had Link stop on the side of the road so I could photograph him) Needless to say, I was TERRIBLY AMUSED!

Now, if I can ONLY remember to come back and post the pictures from the FAMILY photo shoot that I promised. O:-)

STAY ON ME! ;-)

Oh, my youngest daughter, Abby, would have loved seeing the alligator! She thinks she's "Steve Irwin" sometimes. :) Much braver than her ol' mom, that's for sure!

Enjoy your weekend, Tonya!!

Good Morning Tonya!

Great pictures girl! And YEP, we'd like to see you in the family picture...alright?!?!?

Okay...random compliment...
I have noticed this in you and your boys before when I've looked at pictures of you all. You ALL have BEAUTIFUL eyes! I love 'em! Alright! I warned you that it was random, but I keep forgetting to tell you that.

Have a great Friday!

Awesome pics! We just moved from FL (about 4 weeks ago). While living there we saw so many gators but this last storm we had flooded almost our entire farm and I woke up to a gator in our small pond. They don't scare me but it was in our front yard. A little tooooo close for comfort. :) And by the way, your boys have amazing eyes! Ang :)

"The eyes have it"! I noticed them too.

Man, the closest I want to get to a gator is Animal Planet on TV .... or maybe a Florida Gators football game.

Your boys DEFINATELY get more handsome each post. Gabe does remind me so much of Brent. Zach... well- that boy is YOU made over!!! So cute! If I close my eyes, I can still hear Brents sweet voice with that sweet Mississippi accent! I love how your boys talk!
Love you Girlie!

Tonya,
There is a great site that I came across recently that just had a child with a terminal illness in utero. The little boy died shortly after birth but the journey to have him was just exactly that. She was only the 4th patient in her doctor’s 15 year history to go forward with a pregnancy after receiving a terminal diagnosis. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Here is her link

I happened to blog about abortion today. Check it out and let me know what you think. Another thing that absolutely breaks my heart.
I tried e-mailing this to you but it wouldn't work. So I thought I'd leave it here. Bessings.

Hi Tonya,
The boys looked like they enjoyed themselves. I have to say ..at least the alligator was far away. We see them a lot since we live in Florida. They scare me so much..but I know boys love them.
The boys are getting more handsome ..if that is possible. :)
Have a great weekend...

Love and Hugs...

Once again, I am behind on commenting, but I am checking in. Anyway, I hope you felt God's peace on Brent's birthday. I know you can picture him celebrating with his Heavenly Father, but I also know that cannot take away the sting of not being with him on his (and your) special day. I love the pics on here...looks like such a fun day. And the background is beautiful, alligator skull and all. :)

Is this Noxubee county in MS... I was born in that county and my parents live very close to there now...

just wondering, you do not see that word "Noxubee" very often

Blessings!

Hey, girl!
I've been out of town for a few days, so I'm behind in my commenting. Noxubee Refuge...that looks like a cool place to visit...don't know that I'd get close to an alligator, though. Even an alligator skull! lol What a chicken I can be sometimes! :o)

Thanks for your kind words. I love getting comments from you! :o)

Hope your week's an awesome one!
