Thankful Thursday

I've been thinking about having my blog "made over." In searching for "fall photos" I've found some that are very special to me. (They were made while Brent was classified as "No Evidence of Disease") Yes, these bring a SMILE to my face!

So for my post today, I'm VERY THANKFUL to have pictures of ALL 3 of the boys together! I can hardly wait to get my arms around our sweet little man again!

Hi Tonya,
I stumbled across your blog and have really enjoyed reading a few of your posts. I also read the story about your son, Brent. What a strong and mighty woman of God you are. Thank you for sharing your heart with us here in blogland. I will visit again.

God bless you and your family.

OH! I think the pictures of your boys are great! Any, if not all of them, would be perfect for your new blog look. I actually just had a facelift done with mine last week. Good luck with that.

oh my absolute favorite is the first one! Although your sweet boys look so handsome in all of the pictures. Praying for you today and all the days ahead. I know that every day is a hurdle but especially the upcoming days and months. YES, what a glorious reunion you will have with your baby, Brent. GOD is so good isn't he? To give us that HOPE & BELIEF that we will ALL be reunited at home forever and forever. I hope you have an awesome day~~and are sent many reminders of your Brent through out the upcoming days.

Those pictures and his story really touched my heart this morning. I hug each one of our children that much more after reading stories like Brents. Only God knows the day and time we will all be called home. Be thankful for the time He keeps giving me so undeservingly with each of our 7 blessings and waiting on #8.

Your heart is beautiful for Him! I love how you share it with so much grace! Very blessed by stopping by your blog today!

I will be praying for you and your family as you continue to walk this journey of sharing Brents story! You truly have given God all the glory!

In His amazing grace,
Jill

Oh Tonya, thanks so much for sharing that with me. My heart truly breaks for you as a mom. I have 3 children, and I am constantly trying to get them to be "kind" and "nice" to one another. I am an only child, so I don't really understand about sibling rivalry, but my hubby is one of 4 so he gets it. (he is also the youngest and ONLY boy. Can you imagine what I had had to retrain in him?? *grin*) Yes, I agree that it is SO vital to correct attitudes as well as disobedience. And I am so grateful and rejoice with you that all of your family will be able to see each other again and your youngest 2 know Jesus. My oldest (7) just asked Jesus into his heart a few weeks ago and will be baptized this Sunday morning. So my younger two aren't really at the point of understanding yet. But you can be sure that that is my most earnest prayer. As I think about the dynamics between my own kids, I do sometimes worry that I am not doing enough to teach them the value of family and loving each other. I am sure that your boys have grown closer through this dramatic life change.
Here is my email. Just let me know the cost and I will send you some money for it.

Another book that really changed my marriage is called LOVE AND RESPECT. We almost didn't read it in time...
